The Linamar mussel is a bivalve mollusk that feeds in the water where it breeds.
They have an intense orange color, due to their phytoplactonic nutrition, and a mild flavor: somewhat sweet with hints of wood. As for its nutritional composition, the mussel stands out for being a low-fat food: 1.9% per 100 gr. (of which 0.59 gr. are saturated and 126 mg. cholesterol).
